We are located in the heart of central Ky. Our home is 40 miles so. of Louisville, Ky. and 45 miles sw. of Lexington, Ky. We are 17 miles from I65 and 5 miles from the BG Pky. I have been around dogs all my life and through the years I have found that Golden Retrievers make the best companions anyone could ever have. Our children have also been around dogs all their lives, now we are starting a new generation of dog lovers. All 3 of our adult children have dogs living in their homes. We now have 2 grand children and they will also grow up with Golden Retrievers in their lives. Our oldest grandchild, who is now 4 years old always wants to go to the kennel to see and hold the puppies. This has been the case since she learned to walk and talk. We always welcome vistors to see our dogs and puppies and we encourage them to bring their children. We only ask that you not visit other dogs and puppies before coming to our house and kennel. Because young puppies are are very much like young children they can get sick from other dogs germs, so please don't be offended if we ask you to wash your hands and dip your shoes in disinfectant before entering the kennel. The reason we like for you to bring your children is that we like to see how the children and puppies respond to each other, and so will you.

 

When you visit our kennel and select a puppy to hold you will find that its very much like holding a baby because it will snuggle into you like a small child would, they like to be held.

When you have selected a puppy to take home, you will be amazed at how easy it is to care for and train. Our puppies are bred to be intelligent, gentle, very healthy and most of all the best family addition you could ever want. (We provide a 25 mo. health warranty with all our Golden Retriever puppies.) People are always telling us that their new puppy house trained in 2 or 3 weeks. We highly recommend the crate training method. You can find many simple and easy to follow books in your local library about how to train your new puppy. Most puppies can learn 5 or 6 simple commands by the time they are 5 or 6 mos. old. We like to place our puppies as family pets and that is why we keep the cost of our puppies low, so people with a family can afford them. Our dogs also make very reliable hunters, they are natural retrievers and require very little training, just a little praise. They want please.
